Introduction to Baking and Cake Decorating
This 4-day course will teach participants how to create amazing cakes and cupcakes for their own functions or their community’s small functions like christenings and weddings
Participants will learn how to understand recipes and be able to prepare, bake, decorate and present a delicious cake or cupcake. This course is presented to participants of all levels of ability to learn practical skills needed to decorate cakes and cupcakes with confidence. From plain buttercream icing to fancy fondant and drip cakes. You will also learn how to use a piping bag. The baking sessions will be hands-on, meaning that, after recipes are discussed, all participants will prepare and bake the recipes themselves.
Course fee R6000.00 -included each participant will receive an Antoinette’s Cookery School Apron, all ingredients for practical cooking, an extensive recipe booklet that includes all the notes. On completion of the 4-day course each participant will receive an Antoinette’s Cookery School certificate of attendance.
This course will be presented from 08h00 – 15h00 for 4 consecutive days- according to the Antoinette’s Cookery School Schedule.
Requirements for this course – This course will be presented in English therefore candidates should be able to read, write and understand English.
Learn to cook for young adults
Learn to Cook for young adults is a cooking course specially created to fit into our modern fast living times, to assist parents in teaching youngsters to cook in our current ‘fast-forward’ lives.
This course is for 16-year-olds and older.
This 4-day course will ensure that your young adult will not go hungry and that the food budget will not be blown on junk food alone.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes will be prepared, easy one pot dishes, bread baking, as well snack foods. Healthy options, fast and easy!
The course fee of R3100 will include all the ingredients, a recipe bundle with each class, and extensive notes. An apron to use while cooking at Antoinette’s will be supplied, and coffee, tea and juice will be served during the sessions. After completion of the 4-day course, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.
