Participants
- Classes are fully hands-on. For safety reasons, all participants must remain attentive and in full control at all times.
- Classes are designed for adults. Participants must be 16 years or older. Younger guests may attend only with prior written arrangement and when accompanied by a participating adult.
- We are unable to accommodate infants, children, or non-participating guests during events. No baby facilities are available.
- Rowdy or unruly behaviour disrupts the class environment. We reserve the right to end a class early if necessary, without refund. The organizer will be held liable for damages caused by negligence or disorderly conduct.
- Our facilities are not wheelchair-friendly.
Health, Safety & Comfort
- Our classes involve gas stoves, sharp knives, and hot surfaces. Please wear comfortable clothing and flat, closed shoes. Bring something warm in winter.
- We provide aprons, all ingredients, and a recipe booklet. Aprons must be returned after the session unless purchased.
- We take every precaution to ensure your safety, but Antoinette’s Cookery School and its staff cannot be held responsible for any injuries, losses, or damage to personal belongings or vehicles while on the premises.
Food, Drinks & Dietary Needs
- We provide homemade iced tea, percolator coffee, and tea.
- You are welcome to bring your own beer, cider, or soft drinks. If you wish to deliver drinks before your function, please contact us in advance to arrange delivery times. We cannot store drinks earlier than one working day before your event.
- Please respect our rule of no spirits on the premises.
- Participants must refrain from consuming alcohol before the class. Anyone under the influence may be asked to leave.
- As classes are group-based, individual ingredient substitutions are not possible.
- We are not a Halaal, gluten-free, or nut-free kitchen and cannot cater for severe allergies or coeliac diets, although vegetarian dishes are always included.
During & After the Class
- The heart of every class is hands-on learning, connection, and shared enjoyment.
- At the end of each session, guests sit down to enjoy the meal they’ve created together — the perfect way to end the experience.
